Mirage Trip Report - June 8th - 11th

We dropped the car off at ANZA Park and Fly without issue. About $10.75/day with internet coupon this service was easy and stress free. Anza is about a 5 minute shuttle drive to the airport. We were flying Virgin America based on price I cannot think of a better plane(Air Bus 320) with complimentary DISH NETWORK and MUSIC Option and great customer service from checkin to landing. Based on this experience I highly recommend Virgin America...our bags were actually waiting for us at baggage claim. Virgin uses D concourse.

I reserved Presidential Limo but asked that we have a 6-Pack of Blue Moon instead of the Champage. I gave the chances of the beer actually being there about 50/50 but low and behold a 6 pack was on ice waiting for us. Richard was great, easy going and informative. He did say that he paid for out of his pocket so we tipped accordinly. 6 Pack gone by the time we arrived at the mirage.

Check in easy at Mirage, we were given rennovated room 19069. Great Bed(Sealy), down pillows and comfortor, nice 42 inch Phiilips TV. I am a remote control connisour, this one is a bit slow but a minor complaint. Virew was of freeway and roof but not a concern for us.

We did the SPA/Fitness room every day. Fantastic facility, nice equipment, nice steam room and dry sauna. TV in hot tub area along with ice water and amenities. Great Service in this area of hotel and clsoe to elevators but you do need to go the the casino floor to get to SPA.

We say Wayne Brade at the Venetian, great show, bought tickets an hour before show. Theater is 700 seat so there is not a bad seat in the house. Most of the show is improve with the exception of beginning and end9I guess). Very talented funny. Recommend. Show over at 10:30 so fine dining options limited in Venetian, we ate at the Grand Lux. Very large menu with great options. Good food albiet a bit slow(I think it was out waiter) but overall nice experience.

We used Presidential for our return, a bit late but showed up in the stretch HUMMER. This made up for being ten minutes late(and then some). Michael was very nice, informative with good customer service skills. I think the wife and I are hooked on Presidential limo from the airport.

Another great Flight experience with Virgin. Virgin is now my #1 flight option. Anza was easy to get the car back and we were off to home.

Gambling was good plus $500 so some of the trip was paid for by the Mirage. I was a bit more conservative gambling this trip as we are going to Edinburgh/London in August and didn%26#39;t want this trip to impact that trip financially.

i like your review. pretty much to the point! Thats awesome how the driver for Presidential did come through with the Blue Moon and on the return you were in a stretch Hummer! I%26#39;ve used Presidential the last 2 times I was in Vegas for airport xfers

So glad to hear you enjoyed the Mirage...we will be at the Mirage on Tuesday..this will be our third time there..we love it!

Forgot to mention. There are two half price ticket business at Fashion Show Mall. The one on the ground floor looked to be 30 minutes to 45 minute wait. The business in the food court had 1 person looking at shows.

An option for those in a hurry....
