ph rewards card

i am staying at ph in march, and was wondering what benefits a reward card would bring me there. I do the blackjack tables, 4 hours a day, at about $30-$100 dollars a hand. Thanks.

The A-list will get you points for slot play but not table play. You should still sign up because that way they can rate you at the tables and you can ask for a comp off your bill when you are done or for food while there.

How can this be? Do they really not give you points for table games? Wouldn%26#39;t that mean a strictly table player could never reach gold or platinum rating?

Engineer, yes you can get upgraded to the gold or platinum level if you play table games should your play warrant this. It%26#39;s just that points are strictly for slot play. The way that table play is rated is based upon the information logged by the pit bosses and is completely independent from this.

Interesting. Strange that on PH%26#39;s site it says upgrades are based on points. Do the Pit Bosses assign you points that are different...or just..';here is your new card';? I know that Total Rewards tables give you points. I%26#39;m new to Ph%26#39;s way.

Actually it sounds like its really the same as Total Rewards. You don%26#39;t earn points for say each and every hand you bet at a table game, where as you do for play on slots ($10 coin in for Total Rewards.) What they do for their players is they take what you buy in for, what your average bet is, and based on your theoretical loss for the time you spend there, they then award you points.

That%26#39;s really how most table games are done because its not nearly as easy to track as slots.

This info is accurate, and the reason why you should always talk to the pit boss before you leave he table and ask how he rated you. If you are betting 50 bucks a hand for ten hands, then drop to 25 bucks for one hand, that may be the one he sees, and thus how he rates you. Always ask, it doesn%26#39;t hurt!

One huge benefit of having a card would be the time it takes to get paid for a win. Back in late April, my GF %26amp; I stopped @ PH for a drink while we were touring the strip one day. Instead of paying for a drink we decided to drop $5 each in a quarter slot, thereby getting a free bevvie from the cocktail waitress. Well my GF hit the 5X bonus %26amp; won $6400. As we only intended to stay for a quick drink, we never joined the player%26#39;s club. In any case, it took over 45 minutes to get her payout. The lady who helped us told me the payout would have been much quicker had she been a member. We learned our lesson- always, always, always join the casino%26#39;s player%26#39;s club if you decide to gamble, even if you don%26#39;t intend to stay long!

Hi sensfantoronto

of the $6400 how much did you actually get! how much tax did you have to pay on that winning and where you able to recover it?

i guess i am an optimist and have grandiose plans of either my wife or i hitting a big jack pot and was just curious how much you lose in tax?

also we are staying at the PH

Wow, thanks for the info guys!
