Those are three very nice months to visit, but if you still want pool weather then go September to mid October. November is when it starts to get cooler and the pools close.

If pool is not of importance to you then any one of those months will be fine.

we came out in feb last year start of march and a little bit cold

Sept would probably be your best bet. I went in Oct last year. it was the third week of Oct. it can get a bit chilly. Also they say vegas get about 4 or 5 days of rain a year ....... you geussed it we got the 4 days of rain.

whenever you can find room and airfare rates you like, or concerts/shows on dates you like..

Last time we went in mid October, it rained like crazy. I suggest the end of Sept. Early Sept. is still very hot, over 100 in some cases.

I think October is the start of the big convention season?

I have to go out in October you guessed it for a convention! Hotels are already sold out and I am not happy to go when prices are highest! I went in August last year and it was hot but really liked it.
