We will be in Las Vegas on 6/14 for 5 nights and have never been before. What are the must go to restaurants? It is very overwhelming. We are staying at the Mandalay Bay for a HP conference.
Any advice will be appreciated.
what are the must go to restaurants?A hint on your budget would be good here, to fine cuisine spending mega bucks or just good food for a few $$$$.
what are the must go to restaurants? We love Mon Ami Gabi at Paris and Joe%26#39;s Stone Crab and Steak at Caesars Palace.. We have been to Vegas 9 times, and every trip is a new adventure in eating! Have fun.
I agree that you need to provide more information before people here can help you very much.
What do you like to eat?
Will you have transportation?
How much do you want to spend?
I%26#39;d also suggest look at the ratings here on the site. Those will give you some good ideas to start with and then you could come back to the forum with any questions. You%26#39;ll just need to keep in mind that people have different tastes and motivations for posting reviews so it%26#39;s good to take them with a grain of salt.
I hope you enjoy your trip!
Since you are staying at MB I would suggest Red Square if your budget will allow it. DW and I had dinner there the last night of our trip and loved it. The food was great and the service was outstanding. They have a very extensive vodka selection if you are into that sort of thing (which we are). Total cost for dinner including appetizer, drinks, drinks %26amp; tip was about $185. We also liked Mon Ami Gabi at the Paris and Emerils fish house at MGM. Although Emerils was a little more expensive than we were expecting but still very good.
If you want to take a break from the strip, I would highly recommend The Orleans. They have a great Buffet (High Quality,Great Variety) and it%26#39;s fairly low priced (about $6 for breakfast). The Orleans also has a great Casino with low table limits.
A short $10 Taxi Ride will get you to The Orleans
Our 3 ';Must Visit'; restaurants are always:
Mon Ami Gabi @ Paris
Joe%26#39;s Stone Crab @ The Forum Shops
Olives @ Bellagio
If youre staying at MB, I would definately visit Mix. You cant argue with being 64 floors up and watching the sunset in the lounge and having dinner run by Alain Ducasse. (Im slightly biased cause I had my wedding dinner up there :) ) Great food and the best service I had experience....attentive without being obtrusive... :)
I would add to the list..Jimmy Buffett%26#39;s Margaritaville which is located in the middle of The Strip at The Flamingo. Fun place with a lively atmosphere. Upper patio has a great view overlooking The Strip.
Just returned and Mon Ami Gabi and Olives were our 2 most mediocre meals, wouldn%26#39;t return. The best for us were Hugo%26#39;s cellar [ our fav] Del Friscoes [superb service and steak]Firefly for tapas was brilliant.
Margaritaville, Mon Ami Gabi and the Orleans buffet are the must go to restaurants in Vegas?
Must go to places are many but perhaps: Rosemary%26#39;s, Craftsteak, Bouchon, Aureole, Postrio, Peppermill
Must go to places aren%26#39;t cheap except the Peppermill.
