Is it true you can drink alcohol while walking down the strip?...does it have to be in a cup or is a bottle ok?

You can drink whatever liquor you want on the strip, in a cup, bottle, beerhat as long as you are of legal age(over 21)

Yes, you can drink while walking down The Strip. You will have not any problems from Police unless you are acting like a drunk a$$. As far as bottles, there is nothing prohibiting it but it can get very crowded on The Strip and you will get bumped into often, so make sure you hold your drink tightly.

Wow I did not know this.....does that mean I can buy my liquor at the store and bring it with me instead of purchasing it at casinos....

your ok if you look somewhat sober. start falling down, vomiting and the bicycle cops may send you downtown

Actually, in New Orleans you are technically not supposed to have bottles on the streets but they do offer %26#39;go cups%26#39; at the door of every bar for you to dump your drinks into.

You can but drinks at the liquor store and carry it around, even into a casino. But liquor stores are often more expensive then what you would get inside a casino. Search the forums, lots of good advice on $1 beers and drinks on here
