Is there a dress code in vegas eateries along the strip? being that the temp is in the high 90, are shirts and shorts the norm?

Top end restaurants often have a ';recommended'; dress code of business casual but this is rarely if ever strictly enforced. You may however feel a little underdressed and uncomfortable if you ate at such a place dressed a little too casually.
Anywhere else wear whatever you%26#39;re comfortable in.

You can dress casually while eating in most of the restaurants in Vegas. Some people do like to dress up a bit at night-others don%26#39;t bother. You will find most people wearing dressier clothes at the more expensive restaurants. But even in those restaurants they don%26#39;t really have a strict dress code. I like to bring a nice skirt/pants and a silk blouse to wear to the better resaurants and I never felt uncomfortable.
I%26#39;m sure most of the restaurants don%26#39;t have strict dress codes, but the Eiffel Tower Restaurant won%26#39;t let men in in shorts or even jeans. When we went there they actually turned a couple away because the man had jeans on.
All depends. Bellagio yes, V %26amp; Wynn yes in the places anlong the fountains. (Steak, Italian).
Others, not really. Tanks tops and cut offs are looked down on in some of nicer dinner places.
