Need help in selecting a place--Here are the choices (within of cost range)

It%26#39;s my 40th bday and I%26#39;m taking my wife for the first time. I%26#39;ve been once (about 15 years ago) and stayed at the Mirage.

Here are our top 3 considerations in the place we want to stay:

1. Nice Room

2. Location

3. Pool area

The Mirage will meet your considerations as far as Room, Location and Pool grounds.

I have stayed at the B and the V many times, if your asking if it%26#39;s worth $800 more per week in my opinion I would say no, but if you have the extra money then go for it.

Ranking them in order

1. Nice Room: Mandalay Bay, Mirage (remodelled room), Planet Hollywood

2. Location: Planet Hollywood, Mirage, Mandalay Bay

3. Pool: Mandalay Bay, Mirage, TI

Overall I think the choice is between MB and the Mirage - both have their positives and negatives and you can%26#39;t go wrong with either.

I don%26#39;t think it%26#39;s worth an extra 300 / 400 to stay at the hotels you mentioned. May be if it%26#39;s the Wynn. Have you checked out promotional offers that they have from time to time especially at THEhotel and Venetian? What about Palazzo? THey are doing a special $159 for weekdays and $199 (I think) for weekends. Check out the website: www/smartervegas.com

Of those, the Mirage%26#39;s location %26amp; pool %26amp; price for your age range is perfect.

I also think the Mirage will best suit your needs. I do think that the extra money is worth it for the Venetian, but that%26#39;s just my personal need to splurge. Mirage is very nice and will be a good property for you.

The Mirage without a doubt, awesome pool area, can%26#39;t beat the location on the strip and they are almost done with all of the room renovations!

Definitely the Mirage, we stayed there once and really liked it and they have been renovating all the rooms, if you go to the Mirage website you can see pictures, looks very nice.

Not sure how long you are staying and what room type but for me all those prices seem high especially NYNY. Here is a site you can go to to check out promo codes for cheaper room rates (I think).
