1 Bedroom Suite with 2 Beds?

I%26#39;m thinking of taking my 80 year old father to Las Vegas. One of the options I would consider is a One Bedroom Suite with 2 beds. But I%26#39;ve never looked for one before, and I know they%26#39;re fairly rare.

Other than THEhotel which I%26#39;m aware of, has anyone stayed in this type of suite? And can you suggest other hotels that might have this type of suite?

1 Bedroom Suite with 2 Beds?

Not strictly speaking a suite in the eyes of some people as the bedroom and living areas are on different levels rather than seperate rooms, but Venetian or Palazzo may be an option.

Possibly a better choice for your father than THEhotel based upon the typical clienteles of the respective properties.

1 Bedroom Suite with 2 Beds?

Are you meaning a big room with 2 queen size beds? If so, those are common on the strip.....

Blagger: Thanks but a large room like Venetian wouldn%26#39;t serve my purpose. I wanted to give him another room to go to if he can%26#39;t sleep at night. One of the reasons he is reticent about taking the trip is his concern that his being up at night would bother me. So I%26#39;m looking for solutions.

I will also consider a 2BR suite if necessarry, and of course as a last resort would consider 2 rooms.

The Platinum has spacious one bedroom suites, with 2 beds. Very fine accommodations, but definately not on the Strip. You will need to rent a car or take lots of cabs. But the luxury and spaciousness of The Platinum might offset the inconvenience of getting to and from the Strip. That%26#39;s my Mom%26#39;s favorite place when we go to Vegas.

Another option that I think would suit you best would be to get two rooms that are connecting. This way you will both have your own room and bathroom and still be able to walk between the two without going into the hall. All of the hotels can work this out for you....just request connecting rooms.

Good luck and have fun.

Thank you for the suggestion. I thought about the condo-type options, but I don%26#39;t want to spend time %26amp; energy schlepping around this trip so would prefer a hotel/casino.

Because it will probably only be 2-3 nights, and it is a birthday/graduation present for him, budget is not really a concern. Bonding time is much more important. But I know these type of suites are fairly rare.

THEhotel at the Mandalay Bay hands down!! Very nice!!

have a look at the meridian luxury suites good prices and have one and two bedroom apartments. they are just off the strip by ceasers palace.

hope this is helpful

The one bedroom suite at the Signature at MGM would be fine if you don%26#39;t mind sleeping on a fold out couch.

If you have the money to spend, you can get the ';two bedroom'; suite. It%26#39;s really a one bedroom (bedroom plus living area) and the junior suite next door. There are double doors at the main hallway that can be closed to give you a ';foyer'; entrance. We had this for a group of 4 last summer and it was great. We used the living area in the one bedroom as the main general space, but people were still able to have some privacy.

The Las Vegas Hilton, although not directly on the strip does have those types of rooms, we stayed at one last winter. It%26#39;s nice and definitely cheaper.
