I will be arriving in vegas this weekend and I will be meeting my younger brother and I know he is going to be broke (college kids), I remember reading about a coupon book, with a lot of 2 for 1 coupons..Where can this be purchased and how much does it cost?
American Casino Guide?I bought mine from amazon for about $13. It has really good coupons, but mostly for off-strip casinos. I used the book on my last trip and used 2 for 1 buffet coupons at the Gold Coast (Very good), Terribles (good, not great), Ellis Island 2 for 1 menu item and 4 free drinks, and The Orleans Buffet (excellent). I also used a $10 math play at each one of these casinos. The book paid itself off the first day.
If you do order it from amazon, i%26#39;m not sure you%26#39;ll get it in time...usually takes about 5 days to arrive.
American Casino Guide? Thanks, so am I correct in assuming they cannot be purchased in vegas?
I think it is available at Barnes and Noble, off the shelf. Please double check me on this one, I could be wrong. Might want to call them before going, just to be sure.
I bought mine last year at Barnes %26amp; Noble. If you have a large bookstore near you, you should be able to pick one up there.
Whoops, Artemus and I posted at nearly the same time...great minds and all that.
SWEET!! I will go there today, thanks for your help!Nina
The 2008 American Casino Guide Books are available in the following casino gift shops in Las Vegas: Texas Station, Palace Station, Green Valley Ranch, Sunset Station, Santa Fe Station, Fiesta Rancho, Wild Wild West, Terrible鈥檚, Cannery and Hacienda (in Boulder City). The price is $16.95. Players may use their points to purchase books
From the ACG website. I know none of these are on the strip, but if you go buy it there, and then use the coupons for that place, it might be worth the trip. My choice would be Green Valley Ranch -- very good buffet, and there%26#39;s a 241 in the book. Right there you%26#39;ve almost paid for the book!
I bought mine a couple of days ago from amazon.com. Total $15.51 (including shipping).
I get mine every year at our local AAA. It%26#39;s only $9.95 + tax. Different areas may have different prices, but worth a check.
Agree about the GVR buffet, very good! I just remember the made-to-order Mongolian Grill section, yummy!
Also the Red Rock buffet is just as good or even better! Very nice ambience and more variety than GVR%26#39;s!
The 241 coupon for the Station%26#39;s Buffet can be used for either one.
