How much money to bring to vegas??

x5ukh: Can someone give me an average amount of dollars needed per day just for eating and drinking in London?

It%26#39;s just as hard to answer the question for Las Vegas, at least without a lot more information.

Do some research and if you have any more specific questions, or want to include more details, I%26#39;m sure you will get plenty of replies.

How much money to bring to vegas??

x5 - unfortunately this is a very difficult thing to gauge as people all have different tastes.

Some people are happy with McDonalds and all the free booze they can get from putting $20 in a slot machine and playing 1c at a time; for others it%26#39;s about spending 000%26#39;s at world reknown restaurants and blowing milions on the tables.

However i tend to work on $100p/day for mid range food and drink, but exclude all gambling and transport from this figure - using this daily budget i can eat at Prime (great steak, but pricey) and counter this by having cheap stuff at other times.

Yeah, when you think you heard all the questions there is. In Vegas you can get 99 cent shrimpcocktails to $300 seafood dishes

$1 Beer to $600 bottles of vodka

Make your own budget on what you can afford and go from there

no offense buddy, but without knowing your lifestyle, age, heck, a whole slew of different combinations, no one on this forum can tell you how much to bring.

you%26#39;ve gotta factor in a bunch of different things though so hopefully this can help you gauge a little bit better

1. Vegas is a tourist town and as such, is subject to higher prices for common goods such as snacks, water, etc. (if you are staying on the strip)

2. Meals will also be higher priced depending on what you want, and it looks like you want ';quality'; so be prepared to pay for it, luckily the pound is trading at a higher price for the dollar so you should get better bang for your buck.

3. Do you want to gamble? designate how much you are prepared to gamble on a daily basis and multiple by # of days to give you a approximate amount, however do note that a lot of people end up running over that amount since they just want to play every machine or try out different games and such.

4. public transportation should also factor in somewhat to your daily allotment as you might want to take the Deuce (the bus system on the Strip here), taxi%26#39;s and etc.

ultimately no one can tell you how much to bring as everyone had a different priority list. For me, i%26#39;m planning on bringing around $3K just in gambling budget for five days, for some that%26#39;s a lot, for others, its too little, hope this at least helps!

';Going to vegas at the end of this month....looking to do the general.';

Well I suppose as long as MRS General doesn%26#39;t have a problem with it...

im off there at the end of the month, for 3 of us we have about 拢2800 for a 6 day trip, should be enough,

its a very vague question tbh

how much do you drink? gamble?? are you seeing shows?? do you want a fancy meal each night or just nromal restraunts, will you be going to any buffets?

depends where you go osheas will be cheaper than the wynn excalibur cheaper than bellagio, downtown cheaper than the strip etcetc

The other posters are correct. There is no such thing as an ';average amount'; of anything in Vegas. You can eat for under $50 a day or you can spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars a day on food. Even ';quality steaks'; cost different amounts in different restaurants.

Drinks- free if you are gambling but you can spend $15-20 (or more) per drink depending on where you are drinking.

Then you have to consider tips- just about everyone gets tipped in Vegas- including the housekeeping staff. Transportation- anything from free (walking) to the Deuce bus, monorail, car rental , cab fare, etc.

Shows- free (Big Elvis) to hundreds of dollar per seat.

Decide how much you can afford to bring to Vegas. Assume you will not bring back anything from that amount-including gambling money. Then divide that money up depending on your priorities- food, shows, gambling, etc.

Some people bring thousands and thousands of dollars a day to spend each day in Vegas. Others might be able to get by on $200(or less) a day.

OK, since the other people are being mean to you, I%26#39;ll give you the definitive answer. $237.75 per day.

thanks for the replies...well its kind of helped..i have around $2500 for a 10day trip...im not a big gambler...like my drink and steaks...trip to some topless bars and some shows.

Can anyone suggest any stipclubs that they have been too and would vist again..

many thanks again
