Going to Vegas for the 2nd time from July 16-19 for my bachelorette party/best friend%26#39;s 30th bday. There is a group of 4-6 girls going and we are staying at one of the girls%26#39; timeshare out there at Tahiti Village. We%26#39;ll be taking cabs out and back at night, but wanted to get some suggestions on clubs/bars to go to as well as recommendations on good blackjack spots, as last year when I was out there staying ta Mandalay, I kinda got addicted. Also, any suggestions on cheaper/less expensive places to go for drinks as kind of a pre-game to going out for the night would be awesome...
...much appreciated!
Vegas advice?Hard to advise you on clubs/bars without knowing more about what you%26#39;re looking for. There are clubs that offer packages for bachelorette parties - if you do a search on this forum you might find some info on that. Generally, for cheaper drinks, avoid the expensive properties. You can get cheap beer at O%26#39;Sheas or the Rockhouse, 99 cent frozen margs at Casino Royale, or free drinks anywhere that you happen to be gambling.
For blackjack, the most important thing is to avoid tables that only pay 6:5 on a blackjack instead of the standard 3:2. These tables should be visibly marked with a sign, but definitely be wary if the dealer is using a single deck and there%26#39;s no sign, because most singledeck games in Vegas are 6:5. A good rule for the player, if you can find it, is if the dealer has to stay on soft 17 (all 17s). This rule is usually printed right on the felt of the table itself.
If you are looking for low table minimums, you%26#39;ll always do better in the daytime than at night, but you can find lower minimums generally at Tropicana, Bill%26#39;s, and Casino Royale as well as many off-Strip and downtown casinos.
Hope that%26#39;s helpful.
Vegas advice?Don%26#39;t get too ';familiar'; with the male strippers you hire, you fiance%26#39; might not have a sense of humor about THAT
