MGM grand hotel and casino VS. the Venetian

My family and I (5 of us, all adults) are going for a one-night stay at Vegas. Yeah, I know, just one night, so I%26#39;m REALLY trying to find out the best deal for the BEST experience out there. It%26#39;s gonna be our very first time going to Vegas and it%26#39;s actually gonna fall on 4th of July.

We%26#39;re picking between

Bungalow Queen Suite at MGM (2 q-bed and just a sofa)

or

Venezia Rialto View Suite (2 q-bed and sofa SLEEPER)

Both of them fall on the same price range $400-$450.

Which of them is a better deal? Are they really worth it or are you just paying for the hotel name?

We%26#39;re also thinking of staying at Embassy Suites or similar ($200-2 q-bed and sofa bed) which is half the price but away from the Vegas action.

We just want an awesome Vegas experience without feeling cheated on. We really need your help, I%26#39;ve been slaving over the internet for days now just to see which is the better deal and I feel that this forum is just the place to turn to.

Thanks for replying and have a great day!

PS: If you could name better hotels with rooms that can accomodate 5 adults that would be berrry niice too.

One night, between those two, I%26#39;d go with Venezia at the Venetian. Higher class hotel in the middle of all the action.

If you are going to try and have 5 people in one room, there is no room setup better than Venetian. You also might look at Palazzo. They have the same types of room but are a little larger.

Venetian...

I haven%26#39;t stayed at the MGM (yet), but I have stayed int he Venezia! Beautiful room, great service and the view of the strip was spectacular!
