has anyone stayed at mgm grand recently. We are going thursday any room suggestions as far as being close to the pool. Also heard something about an adult pool. Just want to go and sit, sun and read.

Hopefully you already have reservations. If so what room do you currently have?

West Wing is farthest away from the pool. Even the rooms in the Grand Towers are a bit of a hike down the Studio Walk to the pools.

We just got home from MGM last night.

If you want Adult pool that is quiet, its the Directors pool. It is in the back right of the pool complex. Very quiet from what I could tell.

IMO the West wing should be stayed away from. We had two nights in the west wing and one in the grand tower. I did not like the west wing in any way. Grand tower is closer to the pool and just felt better.

We like to dance and drink. We spent two days at Wet Republic. IT WAS GREAT!

It is a full blown club. Loud DJ music and lots of people drinking and having fun. We loved people watching and dancing in the sun.

The lame part is the waiting in line to get in. The cover is $40 for men and $20 for women. Everyone pays on Friday and Saturday. The ';gate keeper'; will make you stand in line forever if you are a man. Ladies get in quick.
