bus to Atomic Testing Muesum help

We are staying at the Wynn and want to visit the Atomic Testing Museum. Can we ride the double decker bus to the museum, does it go there? I thought it might be fun to ride one way and taxi back.

Thanks for any help.

The Deuce will not take you there as the museum is near Flamingo and Paradise. You can walk from the Wynn over to Treasure Island directly across from the Fashion show mall. There you can board the 116 bus which would take you to Koval and Flamingo. Exit the 116 and transfer to route 202 east. Ride that to the museum which is just past Paradise on Flamingo. You can buy a 24 hour pass good on all these routes when you board the 1st bus. The cost is 2.50. Enjoy

Thanks reh, I guess it%26#39;s easier to cab it both ways.

Easier but 10 times the $$$.

They run the ';deuce'; buses on many of their high volume routes all over the city, not just on the strip - if you drive some of the roads other than the strip you%26#39;ll see them. The bus system overall is modern and efficient.

The bus is really an easy way to get to the Atomic Testing Museum. I was a bit apprehensive, too, since I had only ever taken the Deuce--never took a ';regular'; bus anywhere in Vegas. It%26#39;s a short ride, but too long to walk if it is hot.

Either way, I definitely recommend the museum--since it is affiliated with the Smithsonian, it is very well done. Lots of interesting artifacts.

Last December a buddy and I walked to Ellis Island for Lunch and then to Atomic Testing Museum, only about a 15-20 minute walk, not a bad neighborhood.

Can you access the bus from the monorail station at the Flamingo?
