Gold Coast

Going to Judas Priest concert Sept 1 (Labor Day) Palm Casino and need inexpensive room nearby. What about Gold Coast or any others nearby?

Gold Coast

Gold coast is very cheap and right across the street so an easy walk to The Palms. They have decent food too. Rooms are clean and nice. I haven%26#39;t used the pool.

Sometimes Orleans is even a better deal (and IMO has a better casino and better food choices). Nice pool area. If you stay there there is a free shuttle to Gold Coast then you do the same walk across the street.

Gold Coast

Gold Coast would be the best economy choice.

Rooms are generic, but clean and comfortable. It is easy walking distance to Palms, and has free shuttle to the strip.

It is also one of the best locations in town for low limit craps and good video poker if you are so inclined.

Gold Coast is a great choice. They have a pretty good buffet and low-limit tables ($5 black jack). It%26#39;s a very nice property. Rooms are a bit small, but not uncomfortable. They also have a shutle that goes to the strip. You can walk to the strip from here, but it%26#39;s quite a walk. The Palms and the Rio are both within walking distance. I would also recommend getting an ';American Casino Guide 2008';. They have some good coupons in there for the Gold Coast (2 for 1 buffet and match play). The book will pay itself off right away. You can also get a free shuttle from here to The Orleans, which in my opinion has one of the better buffets in all of las Vegas (coupon for this place also available in book).

Gold Coast is in the process of renovating their rooms to include enlarging the bathrooms. I%26#39;ve stayed there 3 times and love that place.

The Gold Coast is a very basic hotel. It is clean and safe. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They have very good VP machines. It has a small pool. The bathroom is small with a window that you can actually open. You can walk to either the Palms or the Rio very quickly. If you need luxury- the GC is not for you. If you just want something clean, safe with a nice staff- then you will be fine.

I think the room renovations are supposed to be finished sometime in July.

My husband has stayed at Gold Coast and says it%26#39;s OK.

If you just need a place to crash for one night Gold Coast is perfect.
