Not a fan of Saltgrass

Took advantage of the $5.99 T bone steak at Harlows

very impressed, great quality and service. So a few days later decided to try the Saltgrass after reading the positive reports on this forum. We ordered the prime rib however very disapointed. Tiny little portions

half of which was very fatty and gristley, the mash was cold and lumpy and the service poor. Not impressed at all considering the hype the place gets

Couldn%26#39;t disagree more ate 12 oz Prime Rib 2 nights in a row there. Loved it both times (second night I had a special request that they grill it for a bit with no problem) and I%26#39;ve eaten a lot of steak at a lot of restaurants. Even crowded we had good service and great steak both nights. The other people with me had tbones and rib eyes and had no complaints. When I%26#39;m back in Laughlin in a couple months I%26#39;ll definitely be eating at Saltgrass again.

The bar manager was a great guy that poured us huge shots each night as well.

I didn%26#39;t care for Harlows at all. Ate there for breakfast twice, neither time was that great and the service was poor.

we go for that 5.99 at least every 2 weeks....i can

not cook it for that.

must of hit a bad day then .Still would%26#39;nt return though

Sorry to hear that. We have eaten at Saltgrass over 20 times and have never ever had a bad or average mean.

ya want good prime rib eat at the prime rib room at riverside. All the fixins are all you can eat too. Ask for lori. My wife will make sure you have good servers and a good meal.

What shift does she work Polka? My wife will eat the prime rib and I will eat a salad.

3-8 lately with her being sent home early every night. Off sun and monday this week. Opens at 4..she answers phone for an hour.

wow.....wife just called at 7 15 tonight....she is being sent home early again.....Can%26#39;t ever remember it being this slow......Oh well at least bush has got his billions to give to afganistan. Need to have another session like i did last week at the machines to make up for this!

Hope things improve for you and your wife Polka. Life is pretty grim here at the moment too. Every day stuff is going up and up in price.I have been struggling to sell my house without giving it away and the sale has just fallen through for the third time. The housing market is pretty shocking at the moment. However we are looking forward to coming back to Laughlin next year and will try the Saltgrass definitely.
