American Air To Add Fuel Surcharge

united air-now $30 fuel surcharge.

Steady supply, rapidly expanding demand can be cruel.

And so far AA is the only major carrier out there to charge EXTRA ($15) for your FIRST bag. Uhhh, no thanks, guys. When I routinely check the 4 airlines with non-stop service to Vegas from Chicago, they are almost always the highest in airfare. Southwest is looking better and better these days....

Get used to it. Gas isn%26#39;t cheap....

(except when it%26#39;s from burritos)

What else is new.

Low, you don%26#39;t know it but you just cam up with the solution to the country%26#39;s energt problem. Burritos!!!

It%26#39;s renewal.

Everybody can pitch in.

You kill two birds with one stone.

Helps our farmers.

Now if we could just find a way to convert that gas into ';clean'; energy.

Thanks, Low-you%26#39;re a genius.

I agree with Strip.... SWA is usually the cheapest and from Denver AA is wayyyyy more expensive to fly.... (at least to Las Vegas... but then again where else do I fly???)

In case people wondered, Southwest airfares are less expensive in large part due to their savy president buying oil futures at what was high at purchase but what is really low now. Low cost jet fuel= competitive fares.

underpar, you are correction. The locked in their oil price for a few years at a little over $50 a barrel. Plus, the stated today that they will not charge for baggage. The man said, ';We will not nickel and dime our customers';.
