Arriving in Vegas on a Saturday

This is the first time we will be arriving in Vegas on a Saturday - estimated around 4pm. Is this a busy time at to catch a cab at the airport? Love to know what to expect from a Saturday arrival. Thanks so much!

4pm should be fine, Vegas is a late town. Plus your taxi driver usually know what sidestreets to take your hotel while avoiding the strip altogether

It%26#39;s really impossible to tell. I think a lot depends on what else is going on in town etc. I have arrived at all different times and have had all different experiences with the taxi line. However - even when it seems very long - it always moves quickly.

Okay, so Ive been contemplating more and have another question about Saturday arrivals... we are booked at Caesars in the Augustus Tower - is it a possibility that there may be nothing available in that tower? What do hotels usually do in this case? My concern is that Im going to get stuck with a classic room...advice?

I arrive on a Saturday night after a transatlantic flight being up for nearly 24 hours, most expensive night at the hotel and too knackered to enjoy it, oh well.

If you are booked for the Augustus Tower then you should get a room in it. I checked into Bellagio at 5PM on a Saturday for and was supposed to get a lakeview room upgrade, they had one waiting for me. Also, the airport is slower on Saturdays than other days, a pleasant suprise for me.
