Best place to stay for nice pool scene - Bachelor Party

I have the assignment of planning my friends bachelor party. I am looking for a fun casino on or near the strip. I am very interested in finding a place with a fun pool scene, considering its a bachelor party, I need to find a place with lots of nice people to look at and not tons of kids. I have heard that Mandalay has a great scene. The only concern I have with it is the location. Is it too far from the other clubs and casinos? I read on one of these forums that MGM had a lot of crazy things at their lazy river. I also read somewhere that Wynn had a nice topless area. How do the different resorts compare? Some sights say the Palms has the best pool for fun other say Hard Rock is the place. MGM is supposed to have lots of pools too. Either way there is a lot of conflicting info out there. So to sum it up, I need a place that is close to the strip, a lazy river, and in a nice casino. Topless women is not necessarily a requirement as long as lots of young ladies are around, of course I am sure it would be a plus. I would appreciate any feedback that might help.

Palms and Hard Rock are both party central, especially at the weekends and have pool scenes that you%26#39;re looking for but both are off-Strip. If being on the Strip is essential, Mandalay Bay would be my choice for you guys.

Properties with a lazy river tend to draw the family and kid crowd that you seem to want to avoid.

Palms or Hard Rock is right up your alley. If you%26#39;re trying to avoid kids neither MGM nor Mandalay is the place to do it.

If you want a water park take the guys to Carrowinds when you get back home :)

Very true irish. of course the lazy river and the kid stuff is not really the main draw. we are basically looking for a fun pool scene, close to the strip, with lots of young ladies since its a bachelor party

hard rock

have you looked into Mirage and their new pool bar/club ';Bare';?

run by Light group which owns the Bank in Bellagio and a bunch of other clubs in Vegas (and maybe NY too?)

Mandalay has the wave pool which is fun. For a Bachelor party, it would depend on which days your going. If it%26#39;s a thursday-sunday trip you can get free admission to ditch Fridays at the Palms. If your there all day Sunday, Rehab at the Hard rock is the place to be. Palms is nicer because it%26#39;s newer. Hard Rock is doing construction and I think the pool is gross because it%26#39;s not that big and there are a lot of people in it. The water seems mucky.

Best pool scene I think would be Hard Rock. I was just at Mandalay Bay for a BP in March. The pool there is OK. They have a wave pool, which is very impressive, but it washes up on a concrete ';shore'; with metal grating. The sand is set back from the wave pool%26#39;s shoreline and the lounges and chairs are in the sand. To me it was all very artificial looking. The lazy river was awesome at Mandalay, but that is not part of the ';scene';. The girls were OK, there weren%26#39;t too many. I honestly expected much better. To be honest, when I stayed at MGM last August the scene was better and the quality of women was better, but there were more kids and families mixed in.

At the Hard Rock, though, they are known for their pool, they have a beautiful layout, it%26#39;s so inviting when you just look at it. Real sand beaches that go into the water, a grotto, a bar in the grotto, waterfalls, lush landscape, lagoons, and the ';scene'; is exactly what it%26#39;s supposed to be for people like yourself who are looking to do a bachelor party.

I don%26#39;t think the Hard Rock as a hotel is better than Mandalay Bay. It%26#39;s not even on the strip, and it%26#39;s on the old side. But if the pool matters a lot to you, then I think that%26#39;s the way to go.

Palms has a great pool scene also. Probably the most beautiful women, more so than Hard Rock even. When I was there in March, at Tao I was talking to a girl who was at the Palazzo and said her pool was awesome - but I%26#39;m thinking that was the Venetian%26#39;s pool, I don%26#39;t think Palazzo has its own pool. Anyway, I think that would be more appropriate for a bachelorette party than a bachelor party... I say go with the Hard Rock.

One other one worth considering, but I have NO IDEA as it is new, is the Golden Nugget, downtown. SEEMS to be something of a ';scene';, and it seems they have a beautiful pool there...you might wanna look into it.

it seems from the above the the top recommendations for pretty girls near the strip seem to be the palms and the MGM. hard rock definitely sounds good too but is it too far from the strip?
