NYNY, TI or Mirage with strip view

We%26#39;re a family of 4 sharing one room %26amp; I%26#39;d quite like a ';room with a view';. We%26#39;re booked with NYNY at present, but can now get TI %26amp; Mirage strip view rooms at similar if not less.

Any thoughts or recommendations?

NYNY, TI or Mirage with strip view

Oh and I%26#39;ve just discovered Flamingo ';with a view'; %26amp; Paris, but here view is of pool or Eiffel Tower.

I%26#39;d really appreciate any input from those that have visited on which hotels best. By the way 2 kids are 18 %26amp; 17, so kiddie pools etc not an issue.

Thanks

NYNY, TI or Mirage with strip view

The rooms at TI with a south Strip view are considered to be about the best strip views in Vegas.

However, as far as all over good facility is concerned, Mirage is much nicer than either NYNY or TI and if pool is a consideration, Mirage pool can blow the pools of the other two away. Plus, Mirage will be all done with their room renovations at the end of August. Even if you will be there before that, just request one of the newly renovated rooms when you check in.

We%26#39;re there July 22 - 27. Mirage offer is coming up actually less than ALL the others, so I was worried about work going on or old room etc. I know Volcano isn%26#39;t working, which is a real shame, so maybe its just that?

As there%26#39;ll be 4 of us in room, maybe I%26#39;m being selfish looking for a view %26amp; should opt for other things instead - like bathroom faciliies, room size etc.

I%26#39;d still choose the Mirage. TI rooms and bathrooms are largeer but Mirage is a nicer hotel. Coming from the UK, the rooms and bathrooms will seem large to you. Also, the location is great so you will be able to walk to most places on the strip.

It will be VERY hot in July, could well be over 100 degrees F, dry heat though. Bring hats/visors for everyone in the family because of the sun, you can buy sunscreen when you get to Vegas and always have bottled water with you when outside. Also, bring your most comfortable walking shoes.

Just went off to look at hotel reviews %26amp; surprised to see Mirage is well down on TI %26amp; NYNY. Placements something like 34, 39 %26amp; 70.

The TA rankings are of not a lot of practical use as people frequently rank hotels working off their experience based against their expectations. Top end hotels will often suffer as a result, hence the ludicrous situation of Bill%26#39;s currently being ranked as ';better'; than either Bellagio or Wynn!!!

Gabby has forgotten more about Vegas hotels than many will ever know - listen to her and stay at the Mirage.

I have to say I tend to agree. People who %26#39;expect%26#39; are often disappointed %26amp; then voice it. Those that are satisfied or who book lower class hotels %26amp; so don%26#39;t expect so much, are happy with what they%26#39;ve got, rarely take time to post a review.

However I usually check out reviews - though loosely - to get a feel for the place. Just a little hesitant %26#39;cause of current work being done %26amp; %26#39;cause price is low, low!

Now I%26#39;d have really loved it if Volcano was running.

Hubby will be happy with Mirage - £££ saved!

OK thanks guys. I%26#39;ve now booked Mirage instead. Hope I don%26#39;t swap again...... unless Bellagio offers me a mega deal!!!
