May, you%26#39;re probably referring to the scheme used at the Wynn. Remember that using that scheme, you are guaranteed to lose a dollar or two per spin. That will work fine for the Wynn because of the low points needed for the buffet. (My understanding is that they are not having that promo any more).
Using that scheme at other casinos will require you to play many, many more spins and thus lose so nuch that it is not cost effective. This is commonly referred to on this forum as ';comp chasing'; and people are always advised, and rightly so, not to do it. You%26#39;re better off buying the buffet or buying the POV or ACG.
